TITOYAYA DANSA

Titoyaya Dansa was founded in Valencia as a platform for artistic creation—a space where new choreographic ideas can be developed with complete creative freedom. The company approaches dance as an evolving process, embracing each new creation without preconceptions or artistic constraints.
Since 2006, Titoyaya Dansa has produced and toured medium- and large-scale productions distinguished by the artistic excellence and technical rigour that define the work of its founder, Gustavo Ramírez. Through the company, Ramírez gives expression to the most personal and intimate dimension of his choreographic voice.
As a choreographer, Gustavo Ramírez has received numerous awards and distinctions, including the Étoile de Ballet 2000, the Prix Dom Pérignon, Chicagoan of the Year (Arts/Dance), 25 to Watch by Dance Magazine, the Premi Ricard Moragas, and, most recently, the 2019 Valencian Performing Arts Award for Best Dance Production for CARMEN.maquia.
The company's first outdoor production, Social Animal, selected for the Danza a Escena 2021 touring programme, was also nominated for Best Street Arts Production at the 2020 Valencian Performing Arts Awards.
