AVED develops a range of activities and projects aimed at creating opportunities for professional networking, facilitating access to training, promoting the creation and dissemination of the performing arts, and strengthening the sector’s capacity for advocacy and representation. These initiatives are structured around four main areas of activity: professional networking, training, support for the performing arts, and advocacy, consolidating a network of collaborations with festivals, institutions, professionals and other sector stakeholders at local, national and international levels.

 1. PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING

Creating spaces and opportunities for dance companies and professionals to connect, fostering the creation of networks, the exchange of projects and the development of new avenues for collaboration at local, national and international levels.

2. TRAINING

Supporting the professional development of our members through training activities, workshops and learning spaces that provide specific tools for the management, communication, internationalisation and sustainability of dance projects.

3. SUPPORT FOR PERFORMING ARTS

Supporting and raising the visibility of artistic creation and the work of our member professionals and companies by promoting projects, collaborations and performance opportunities that contribute to the growth and recognition of dance and the performing arts.

4. ADVOCACY

Strengthening AVED’s presence and participation in spaces for reflection, debate and decision-making within the sector, contributing to the analysis of its needs and advocating for the interests of dance companies and professionals.
