ACTIVITIES

AVED fosters professional connections between its members and other industry stakeholders by creating spaces for meetings, exchanges, and collaboration. Through reverse trade missions, professional gatherings, and participation in festivals and trade fairs, the association facilitates contact with programmers, professionals, and institutions both in the Valencian Community and throughout Spain and internationally, promoting networking, the exchange of projects, and the opening of new professional opportunities for its member companies.

AVED develops its training program with the aim of strengthening the professional capabilities of dance companies. These initiatives focus on management and professionalization, offering tools for the organization and sustainability of projects; on communication and visibility, through strategies to improve the dissemination of artistic work; and on internationalization and the creation of professional networks. Together, these initiatives respond to the needs of the sector and contribute to its development and consolidation.

AVED works to promote and raise the profile of dance companies and professionals, generating opportunities for exhibition, collaboration, and the development of new projects. Through festivals, awards, artistic residencies, and collaborations with other organizations, the association contributes to expanding the presence of dance in the region and strengthening the Valencian performing arts ecosystem.

AVED promotes the representation and defense of the professional dance sector in the Valencian Community and throughout Spain, actively participating in dialogue and sectoral representation. It is part of networks and federations such as FECED and FAETEDA, thus strengthening its presence in the sector's decision-making structures.

It also develops mapping and research projects on dance in the Valencian Community, with the aim of generating knowledge and raising awareness of the sector's realities. This work is complemented by participation in publications, conferences, and specialized media, contributing to the dissemination and positioning of dance within the cultural sphere.
