WHO WE ARE
AVED (Valencian Association of Dance Companies) is made up of a number of Valencian companies whose main purpose is to strengthen and dignify the professional dance sector in the Valencian Community.
AVED was the first association in Spain formed exclusively by dance companies. With a long-standing history, it has been working since 2005 to elevate the performing arts and the dance sector as a whole.
AVED strives to remain open to dialogue, reasonable and constructive, yet also persistent and assertive in defending the rights and needs of dance companies. It advocates for the presence of the sector in decision-making forums and plays an active role in shaping cultural policies.
AVED is a member of FAETEDA (Spanish Federation of Theatre and Dance Associations) and FECED (Spanish Federation of dance companies)
