TAKIRI ART COMPANY

Takiri Art Company was founded in 2017 under the artistic direction of dancer and choreographer Rafael Perets. The company is dedicated to developing a socially engaged artistic practice, using dance as a catalyst for transformation through ideas, dialogue and shared experiences.
Takiri believes in the arts as a powerful force for personal and social transformation. By bringing together dance, live music and theatrical elements, the company seeks to create emotionally resonant experiences that foster meaningful connections between performers and audiences.
Its current repertoire includes CUBE, TAKIRI and the short work HUMAN, which have been presented at theatres and festivals including Vila-real en Dansa, Circuito Bucles, Cultura als Barris, Livorno in Danza (Italy) and the Kuranta Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Takiri Art Company is supported by the Circuit Valencià de Cultura, REDESCENA and the Valencian Institute of Culture (IVC), which has backed the development of its productions. Most recently, the company was selected for a creative residency at Teatro Círculo.
