Mauricio Pérez Fayos (2000) is part of the new generation of Valencian dance creators. Interested in intertwining different fields of stage creation, he centers his creative discourse around the body and movement, basing the central theme of his creations on current events and themes that directly affect him as an artist. As a creator, he participated in the Graners de Creació 23-25 residency program, where he developed his first piece, ‘Esto iba a ser La Oportunidad y ha acabado ser mi primera despedida’ (This Was Going to Be The Opportunity and It Ended Up Being My First Farewell), which was included in the Danza a Escena 2025 national catalog.
Throughout his career, he has participated in various competitions, such as the Madrid Choreographic Competition, and national dance festivals like Festival Dansa València, Escena Abierta, and Migrats en Breu. He develops his projects in partnership with institutions such as the Institut Valencià de Cultura and the INAEM (National Institute of Performing Arts and Music). She has presented her work in venues such as Teatro Pradillo, Centro Cultural Paco Rabal, Escorxador d’Elx, and L’Horta Teatre.
Through her studies in creation and movement, she came into contact with light and its application on stage, creating lighting designs and providing technical coordination for Paula Serrano, Jesús Benzal, La Basal, and other artists, as well as for her own artistic projects.
