JESSICA CASTELLÓN Y BORIS ORIHUELA

Jessica Castellón and Boris Orihuela are artists from Cádiz, trained in Choreography and Performance at the Conservatori Superior de Dansa de València. As a company, they develop a hybrid language combining contemporary dance, urban dance and physical theatre, with a strong dramaturgical structure and a research-based approach rooted in the arts.
Their repertoire includes Cuentas Corrientes, Quo Fugio, Quo Pervenimus, Don’t Take It Personal, Bad Dog, No Biscuit and NI FU NI FA, which have been presented at national and international festivals and performance circuits. Their work has received recognition including the Ruth Schwieger Award at the International Choreography Competition Hannover 2026, as well as production and presentation awards from Theater Ulm and Tanzlabor Roxy Ulm, and prizes at competitions such as Premis Òrbita, Corto in Danza, Burgos–Nueva York, SóLODOS en Danza, Vallecas Danza and Bucles. Their work Cuentas Corrientes has been recommended by the Spanish Network of Theatres and selected for Danza a Escena 2026.
As performers, they have worked with Dickson Mbi, Candela Capitán, Cie. Allongé and Taiat Dansa, as well as participating in productions by Palau de les Arts, IVC and the Generalitat Valenciana.
