Producciones Bucles is a contemporary dance company directed by Isabela Alfaro. Its work focuses on creating stage proposals that explore new movement languages in dialogue with society. The company advocates for dance that is engaged, accessible and transformative, addressing themes such as identity, gender, diversity and inclusion, while connecting with diverse audiences and expanding the boundaries of performance and presentation. Its innovative approach integrates artistic and technological disciplines to create participatory experiences that encourage collective transformation.

Isabela Alfaro is the artistic director of Producciones Bucles and has an extensive career in contemporary dance and the performing arts. She also directs Festival Bucles and the DAMA festival, developing a line of work focused on creation, innovation and dialogue with the local territory. The company has produced works such as Flama Beat, Rara Avis, L’Esplai Oscil·lant and Eva, reflecting its ongoing research into new movement languages.

She has promoted initiatives such as the Los Nanobucles educational programme at Centre del Carme, the InMoviment 2.0 digital platform for artistic residencies, the Re-existencias en Movimiento sociocultural project, and the inclusion project L’Esplai Oscil·lant. Her career combines artistic and choreographic direction with cultural management, developing projects that integrate artistic creation, sustainability, inclusion and cultural mediation. Her work was recognised with the AVETID Award for Best Innovation Project in the Performing Arts (2021), while Festival Bucles was included in the national ranking Lo mejor de la cultura (2023 and 2025) among the most innovative and high-quality cultural projects.
