FIL D'ARENA
@fildarena

Fil d'Arena Dansa-Teatre was founded in 2011 as a space in which to give artistic form to the questions and concerns that emerge from the collective. Movement is its language, and the body its primary means of expression.
The company is a multidisciplinary collective of four women working through a horizontal, collaborative creative process based on collective authorship.
Since its foundation, Fil d'Arena has premiered seven productions: Café Sol (2011), La Consagració de la Primavera (2014), La Sal que ens ha Partit (2015), Salt (2017), Cos a Cos. E111 (2019), Nina (2019) and Sènia (2020).
The company has developed both a national and international presence and, since 2015, has received ongoing support from the Valencian Institute of Culture (IVC), the Valencia City Council's Cultural Action Programme, and INAEM, as well as from local initiatives including the Carme Teatre Creation Residencies (2017) and the Graners de Creació residency programme (2019–2021).
